Innovative flush façade integration, frameless glass aesthetics, and bespoke door engineering with hidden profiles
The Greenwich Marketing Hub in London was developed with a clear architectural vision: to create a building defined by a completely flush façade appearance. Commissioned by Knight Dragon, the project required a bespoke entrance solution where all doors seamlessly align with the façade when closed.
BDS Entrances engineered a range of custom door systems, including curved and linear sliding doors, as well as tall and standard swing doors. Each solution was carefully designed to maintain a clean and uninterrupted architectural expression while meeting functional and technical requirements.
A key innovation in this project is the Eliminate door system, constructed using double glazed units where the traditional surrounding frame profile is integrated within the glass spacer. This results in a highly minimalistic, almost frameless appearance, perfectly supporting the flush façade concept.
Despite this refined aesthetic, the doors are built on a robust stainless steel construction, enabling heights of up to 5000 mm and ensuring long-term durability. The combination of advanced engineering and precision detailing allows for a wide variety of configurations, including single and double swing doors as well as straight and curved sliding doors in both standard and tall designs.
